I’ve been on the hunt for a new oven and have looked at several types of conventional ovens, dual or stacked ovens, and I even came across this interesting Turbo Convection Oven. It’s not like a conventional oven at all; it sits on your counter top and cooks your food right there.
What makes the Turbo Oven so different than a regular conventional oven is that it uses 3 methods to cook foods at the same time. The Turbo Oven uses conduction (heat that cooks the outside of the food), convection (the heat gets moved around the oven to evenly cook the food), and it also uses infrared to cook the middle of the food without drying it out.
The Turbo Oven really grabbed my attention because I’ve been looking for a new oven to help cook the big meals I make for family get-togethers faster and more efficiently. Not only does the Turbo Oven have the ability to cook large meats like a 14lb turkey, it can also cook it frozen. When I read that you don’t have to thaw out foods before cooking them I was in heaven because that would save me so much time in the kitchen.
Because the Turbo Oven uses the 3 different methods of cooking at the same time the cook time is about half of what it normally is in a conventional oven. And if you can believe it, on top of cooking frozen foods, cooking twice as fast, it uses up to 85% less energy than your normal oven does.

The more I read about the Turbo Oven the more I realized that it was exactly what I needed. I love having the family over, especially the grandkids, and sharing a fine Sunday or holiday meal together. With the Turbo Oven I’ll get to spend more time with my grandchildren instead of being held up in the kitchen all day long cooking.
The clean up afterwards seems pretty easy too; it cleans itself! I don’t know how I’ve survived this long doing large meals like I’ve been doing. I don’t know why they don’t have Turbo Ovens made standard in homes now a days, they just seem so much better than traditional ovens.
On the Turbo Oven website it listed a lot of free stuff you get when you buy your Turbo Oven that seemed pretty helpful. It comes with a few helpful items like tongs and a lid holder and it has a recipe book that might be fun to try with the Turbo Oven.
It looks like there are also a few racks that come with the Turbo Oven to help cook appetizers or smaller meals like kabobs or chicken strips. A few of the reviews I read specifically mentioned that it’s important to make sure you get the extender ring kit so you can cook the bigger turkeys or hams. When I looked online at the Turbo Oven website the extender ring kit came with the Turbo Oven.
So if you’re looking around for a new oven or for a faster way to cook meals, the Turbo Oven seems like the thing for you. I know I’ll be getting one after reading what I’ve read and seeing how much time I can save making the same meals. I’ll keep you up to date on what my Turbo Convection Oven experience is like!
